Keynote Speaker: Doug Pelfrey (10:00 am)
Doug Pelfrey, the Cincinnati Bengals' kicker from 1993-1999 and third all-time leading scorer. Doug is a "hometown guy" who starred at the University of Kentucky, in 1995 Doug started Kicks for Kids as a result of his passion to help kids and his commitment to the community in which he lives.
Helping to level the playing field for local children at risk, KFK serves the communities of Northern Kentucky, Southeastern Indiana and Greater Cincinnati.
Since 1995, KFK has directed over $1.7 million into youth enrichment through its programs and the organizations with which it partners. In its short history, the charity has positively impacted over 45,000 kids at risk! KFK strives to not only give hope, but to “level the playing field” for the youth it serves.
Doug’s accomplishments, both on the football field and in our community through KFK, are a source of inspiration to many . . . parents, business owners, athletes, and most importantly, children with dreams.
